... or, so everybody understands it: "Is it Christmas already or what?"

(That was a very silly advertising campaign in Germany a few Christmasses back,  for a cell phone service company, and it showed an elderly ex-footballer and a horde of silly Father Christmasses. It seemed to make sense at the time.)

Well, my personal Christmas today was caused entirely by woelfle.

First, she gave me the gmail invite she had; now I am yakalskovich at gmail dot com (spaces and signs, yadda yadda). That made me happy, even if mazgul_nr_5 doesn't entirely understand what it's for. I find it very superior. It knows which email of yours any incoming is a reply to. Clever thinggy.

And then she went and metaquoted me, too, for a phrase that I had first used a few days ago as cpt_tantony (I think, it's unlike Beth to describe things so precisely) to explain the thought processes of one Dafe Livingood...

Hei, Yap, do you want a postcard from Berlin, too? Not reed-thatched roofs or wind power generators though, but that's where I leave for on Thursday. If I'm lucky, I get to see the MoMA exhibition. Somebody is queueing for tickets for our throng .

I met him at a Wienerwald (chicken restaurant chain, by now defunct and bankrupt) once, near Munich's market place. Well, met. I was going out, and he was coming in. Not like my former colleague who once was in a car crash with tennis player Boris Becker. Whom I'd no more want to meet than this one, actually.

Can't I meet a really interesting celebrity? LIke say, Alan Rickman? Oh, wait, I did. I went to London with the Nazgul for that, actually. So, why not Johnny Depp, then?

I hope your colleague got paid a new car by Becker, he can bloody well afford it.

As for the others, yeah, sigh... Oh wait, I did meet Rickman too, like, fifty metres off and with his backside turned to me, same with Gary Oldman, David Thewlis and the kids. Gaaah!

Oh well. Maybe we can set up a double date with Johnny Depp and another Fancie Gentleman of our lykinge? :-D

Ahhh. Yes, that's an explanation. It's damn hard to get proper hendl now in the middle of the weekend when one feels like it. No more Wienerwald, only McDonalds with their reconstituted poultry meat pieces...
