"Homosexual Desire in Revolutionary Russia" sounds like a fantastic read. Is it in Russian by any chance?

Nah, it's not; it's by some English historian. And it manages to be the most dry and boring book that I own, counting telephone directories; also manages to be about homosexuality in Russia during the first three decades of the 20th century without mentioning Prince Felix Yusupov at all, which I find remarkable.

The title sounds fascinating. But the book seems to fall into the Eragon category.

It sounds fascinating, and is; but it's written very badly. I thought I absolutely needed to read it because of my writing project, but then found that it was too dry for my brain to stomach, even if some of the contents is interesting.

Also, not mentioning Felix when he is so honest and open (you could say: seems to have never knows what discretion means) and goes on about it just thinly veiled at such great length...

Course you can!! It's right beside my computer, among all the other books about Grigori, Felix and that lot. Although it manages not to mention Felix once.
