Yay, we have a new DSL Modem! That is, the Metropolitans have one, and I share the good luck. Last night, we suddenly went offline. So I spent the evening reading "Swordspoint", and the morning making more icons for
cpt_tantony, and now we're online again, I have to go to work. Blah!
But before I do, I will cheekily repost something dear
_inbetween_ has scanned, because all the Dyskworlders on my list will appreciate it as well. Plumbers and Dunnikin Divers, anyone?
And: special thanks to
freeformchick for freeing my mind from the tyranny of 100x100 pixels. Just because we can have it, it doesn't mean we have to use it to the utmost. That's something which is wrong with the world in general, I find. Hmm. Excuse the sententiousness. In any case, all my non-square icons for the Captain come out rather interesting; and I'm going to make more later, too.
For
_inbetween_ and all others not associated with the Discworld RPG: that there is a sub-bucket full of over 60 James Frain icons.
ETA: Penelope, look at what
litsares has added to our Assassin story line! I think her flock includes you, but I'll encourage her to post it to the comm in any case. It's utterly brilliant, anyway. Underworld, I so have to run to work now!!

Clothing half undone? Heh! Do you mean this one:
But too curly?? Pur-leeze! Can James Frain really be too curly? His curliness is a very important part of his good looks.

hm, the left one, yes. although he looks like tom hollander in it <3 i also liked the one with his back half-turned (you have it twice).
hehe, yes, there is indeed too-curly, even for him. when only his glupschaugen peer out of a circular bush, it is too curly ;P

Hei, you can't say such funny things when I'm at work! I'm not supposed to spontaneously laugh out loud.
Example, please! Unless they're the pics where he's the Spanish Ambassador from "Elizabeth". There, he's not just very curly, he's positively hairy; but

yes, that one is the best example, but there are a few, very few other fuzzy-headed ones.
oh those females who delight in hairy males *shakes head*
or is tahiri a male character?

Other fuzzy-headed ones? Fuzzy-headed, but no berad? Not tell me already which ones you mean! *is curious*

14, 22, 39-44.
mun? why can they read private unless they own the com? and how can you only make parts of a post private.
no subject
Muns are the people who play the characters; you refer to a RL person as "Tantony-mun" and so on. As I explained on the other thread. And the private tags are a convention we have on the RPG. Because sometimes characters need to speak privatly, in a situation where one would normally take a conversation to email. But as it's part of the story line, the other *RPers* need to know, even if the convention says that the other characters don't. An especially interesting and varied example of such a conversation from the Captain's journal is here.

ps: i am so cold. but if i put on the jacket, i will freeze even more outside. wah.
ok, the threads are so collapsed, i could not see "private" :S wanna link me to a specific subgroup?
Hairy vs. fuzzy
Hmm - I thought I saw some [Private] tags before they collapsed. Follow the threads with
Re: Hairy vs. fuzzy
unlike the text itself ;P
yellowsummer and i do that by splitting up comments into subject and message, with two totally different conversations going on at the same time, but two levels. while the message might be arguing, the subject has to be joke/friendly.
argh. spooky. dff just called and then hoarsely chuckled into my phone, it sounded like an old engine not starting, and now my ear hurts and i am all nervous. wah. men. men who always consider them superiour and say that all technology dies in my presence.
i want some fuzzy cuddly boy now. not in an icon. here.
Fuzzy
What's a dff?
Re: Fuzzy

Here's a kitten for you:
Taken from an otherwise rather salacious drawing.-
But who is derfettefranz? Is that his LJ user name?
