The addicitveness is because anyone can be anyone they want to be, from whatever obscure canon, and interact with a whole world of fiction out there, whatever way they like best. There is almost always people there. The regulars have their relationships and break-ups and whatnot.

It is some sort of mental drug - they jokingly call it the Crackbar. Not all that jokingly, I sometimes think. You're doing well to keep out of there.
