Just had a phone call

My mother and the Little Lady are going to visit me in about two weeks - whee!!

I shall take pictures of the Little Lady with Svava the kitten, and the cute will instantly be fatal to everybody.

I shall have to arrange plot at miliways_bar around that visit, but on the pro side, I can watch 'Neverending Story' with the Little Lady, and get ideas for _fuchur_

And we can go to Bavaria Filmtours again, and I shall have pics of Phia riding Falkor, which will be even more fatally cute. Fortresses were laid low by lesser forces than the squee that is going to generate...



Harry Potter is much more bearable in part 6 than he was in part 5; I no longer feel the urge to swat him dead with a wet towel at every turn. Like Anakin Skywalker, he improves.

Important for Milliways so far: Bill/Fleur, and black!Blaise.

And the Inner 'Suti who shares my brain eagerly absorbs all the new things about magic that are revealed; he likes non-verbal charms, so they already got a mention in the quest thread. Of course, the books on all that are in the library.-

Fleur has the inlaws from hell. I felt so sorry for her.

Blaise is SEX. Rowr. Now all I want to do is write Slug Club orgies with lots of underaged drinking (or is 16 legal in Scotland?).

As far as Milliways is concerned, I don't like it.

I was thinking that whilst reading it. But it's a cute combination in the book, just not very convenient for Milliways. Although that is the risk when you have a character with an ongoing canon. Guppy's canon keeps moving and it makes it difficult because the producers suddenly make new information out of the blue. Oh, and I think they're writing him out, but can't get any decent spoilers, so this is not a good thing at all. It's the same when playing a Harry Potter character; the books aren't written yet so it's never going to totally agree.

Yes, they were. Was that mentioned in the other books or just coincidence?

I don't think Guppy's being killed off, because another character is and I think the spoilers would have said. But it sounds like he's being written out and I can't get any information on it. I think he's just going to leave, in which case I'll just have him based somewhere else doing the same thing.
And he is Bound for the next week, because I realised last night that he's going to overtake his canon. Oops.
