I read that the Munich city council has forbidden all the public containers where charities collect used clothes because they make the city look scruffy. It won't belong until a general all-day curfew because the inhabitants spoil the nice cityscape.

Yep, they are - all sort of evil things that I won't call them out loud, being a somewhat civilised person.

The ~~bunch of fucking fascistoid morons~~ municipal authority that allows and bans events, collections, flea markets, curfews, political demonstrations, every ~~fucking~~ thing in Munich, was also responsible for there being no Harry Potter parties at all this time around, in Munich. You could go to ~~fucking~~ Bielefeld, and there would be some, but not here. The ~~fucking~~ Kreisverwaltungsreferat (as they are ominously called) must have thought that would make kids go to bed late. We can't have that, can't we?

Munich itself is titionally ruled by the SPD on a municipal level, but the Kreisverwaltungsreferat is a notorious bunch of narrow-minded hauswarts anyway.

Now you mention them, I'm not sure what happened to the REPs in my old home country of B-W. They got into the Landtag 13 years ago with a shocking 10%, and stayed for two terms, I think. Maybe they have disbanded indeed. Would be good.

I was at Hertie on saturday and they do not have a single piece of HP LEGO even though the next movie will be here soon and LEGO has cool new stuff.
