That's cute and efficient.

Meanwhile, my parent's tree has been up for a few weeks and has managed to shed needles EVERYWHERE (see chimney fire story on my LJ). It looks like a molting bird.

Efficient - LOL!! Well, in comparison, my parents might be efficient, but absolutely, they are not.

I meant the tree :) It's just enough to provide the scent and feel of Christmas without eating up half of your living room.

That's because of the kiddies; we used to have tall trees that stood on the floor, but what with little kids about, my parents thought it safer to have one up on the desk - which is what that table is, most of the year.
