Heh, magic!!

Our snow is going away in record time; it started raining last night, and by now, under the influence of warm water and a warm, vigorous wind, only the tallest of the snow mountains in the first back courtyard remain.

My poor bike is free again.

Apparently, going to the White Witch of Narnia, Milliways edition (whitest_witch ) helped. I had Asar-Suti bribe her with magic books and entice her with the second chance Milliways gives even to dark deities like Melkor or himself, and she was interested, and let up on us in RL. The state of 'always winter, and never Christmas' that we had the last week or so is past...
