Wikipedia - we love to hate it, don't we?

Read Wired News again, after a long time.

First thing up, a very astute and funny article about Wikipedia.

And now I'm going to open a huuuuuuuge can of worms...

Do sex offenders that have served their time deserve human rights?

As a German, I'm always a bit wary if somebody declares other people less-than-human by law.  Here, my ancestors (or at least those of some of the people around me) used to call that 'Untermensch'.

Just think about it. I am sure you've got an opinion about this issue, but there's no point in opening up a flame war. That's why there'll be no comments on this entry. Try commenting about this on one of my earlier posts? Your comment goes, and this post as well. I hate wank more than I love my opinions.-

ETA: I realise this issue was already touched in passing in an episode of CSI; so yes, I know there's an awareness for the problematics of all of it out there in the meme pool, even filtering down into popular entertainment. That bloke in Maine obviously didn't watch CSI, though.
