Warning of potential netlessness

So, today the wires that were in the demolished wall are cut, and we have a power cut while our electricity is switched over to another, less precarious connection.

No power from 7 to 11, the paper we all got said. It also said to disconnect all computers, cordless phones, answering machines and the like.

I've got to work anyway, so I don't mind that much; when I come home, the power should be back.

Theoretically. The devil, as I said, is a squirrel (hoarding the worst things for later when you no longer expect them, that is). No offense meant to Mr. Vision or any of the Milli!devils, by the way. But.

If I don't turn up this afternoon and evening, that's why.

ETA: It worked, I am home, I am back, I shall post pictures of cut wires in the course of the evening!

We have electricity, so I can post pictures. But it was rather exciting in the morning.
