Internet dead!

My Internet and phone line at home are dead; the Telekom was putting in new IP-TV cables and accidentally killed all land lines and DSL connections in our area.

They say they'll be back at eight tonight, but I don't believe them; that's just when they close their shop so I can't come and throttle the snotty little apprentice who talked to me any more.

I got drabble prompts from essayel for MM, though, so I won't go into utter withdrawal, I hope.

And I've got my tiny, tiny tomcat to entertain me, of course! Tonight at half past five, he commandeered my bed and wanted cuddles, urgently. I guess he either had a nightmare (dogs and cats do seem to dream, after all) or was so unnerved by my snoring he thought he had to do something about it. Sleep after that was light, as the cat stayed, spread over several parts of me over the rest of the night, but I was happy that he trusts me so far now.

ETA: We're back!! I have Internet again!! *squees*
