OMG Milliways!

Makes me remember my grandmother's cleaning lady, who was sort of part of the family, and who used that stuff. She sometimes took care of me for a few days on end when the grown-ups were away, even. She'd had an alcoholic husband that had left her, and was very religious, a Protestant pietist of a sort that is rather common in that area of Germany, just as you get chapel people in Wales, and Baptists in the Deep South? Frau Kühn. She was a dear. I haven't thought of her for years.-
Oh, and the silly advertising melody from the old TV spots for that stuff, which was called 'Meister Proper' in German, but was still the same stuff, and the same bald bloke with the very brawny arms...
