nazgulwears just alerted me to the fact that the Swiss Franc overtook the American dollar moments ago.

That means for one Dollar, you won't even get a whole Swiss Franc any more. I am very sorry for wiebke, cracicotus  (and all the other Americans that occasionally travel abroad) but it seems your economy is well and truly screwed now. If you come over this December, we can do things that won't cost that much, instead of stuff where you have to pay -- because everything will be horribly expensive for you.

People in LA should start nailing things down now, because when the Nazgul goes there on a stopover this August, she'll probably buy everything that isn't. She is already speculating about bringing empty bags.

Hmm, what would I want her to bring me from America, apart from a few bottles of Advil?

In the meanwhile, one can still watch the dollar falling.
