'Subway To Sally' and Apocalyptica

Ahhh it was good to see Apo again! We got to join the fray in the mosh pit, the Nazgul and I, me using her quietly as a ram to push the kiddies away. Awful, those little things all dolled up as 'goths'. But the girl with the Emily the Strange shirt was there as well - and she had brought her mum, a classic Gothy Old Broad, with straight black hair down to her bum. There were a few older people, and rabid female cellists, as in the old times.

Subway To Sally weren't bad, either; they came first, and we watched them from the back of the big tent, where there were seats. We were saving our energy for Apo. The Nazgul didn't know much about them yet; I had bought two -- I think -- albums of theirs on iTunes. They didn't play many songs I knew, and neither of those on my Teja playlist. Ahhhhh, I'd so have loved to hear 'Der Geist des Kriegers' live! But it was not to be.

Acoustics were, as always in that big Tollwood tent, absolutely shitty.-
