Solemn occasion
Oct. 29th, 2008 06:25 pmsolemn: - from solemnis, -is, -e -- [Latin] (of an event, custom, or ritual) celebrated or observed annually
One thing that marked my years as surely as the Christmases, birthdays, and summer stays in No Computer Land has been the computer trade fair named Systems, here in Munich, that used to take place every autumn, around the end of October. It's not nearly as big as CeBIT in Hanover, nor as international; it's mostly for those companies that are represented in the South German boom regions.
( Systems and me -- some teal deer, then picture post full of mockery and nasty )
