Fandom nightmare
Nov. 16th, 2008 11:45 amI don't usually remember my dreams, much less post them, much less when they're nightmares -- but tonight's nightmare was funny!
I dreamt there was a huge hole in the ground lots of people were going down into because there was some fandomish event in it that was to do with the Twilight books, and they were all going inside, 'eeeee'ing and cheering. I got my camera out to take pictures, not of the event but of all the crazed fangirls who, for some reason, were mostly wearing Hogwarts or St. Trinian's style British school uniform, and the people I was with (they were somebody I knew, but I don't remember who) aked if my camera was set to putting a big watermark in each picture saying 'Twilight', and I said, 'Of course not, my camera can't do such a silly thing!', and they called security on me, which made me feel very betrayed! Security came and summarily evicted me from there, stuffing me down the next hole, which contained a dreadful action thriller in which a bus was on fire, with a person and a bomb trapped inside, and I was supposed to help save them, but had no idea how to do it; I remember being scared not so much of the bomb, but of having to watch the poor guy in the bus die.
I don't remember more of that, but I woke up thinking 'Oshitz, what a nightmare!' and then started laughing, when my waking mind saw how funny it was.-
