- can haz battle-axe! Yep, I went and bought it at the medieval Christmas market. Not the great bearded thing in the icon, the Danish battle-axe I can really swing about.
- am really, really pished. We had hot mead fortified with rum at the Christmas market, then tea with Baileys, thenwhite wine with the salad we had for supper, afterwards ice cream with egg liqueur, and then a bottle of raspberry wine home-made by
wiebke's and mine mutual friend, Maria, from Shrewsbury, formerly from Peterborough. Wiebke passed out; I sober up by writing, as always.-
- really need to post the recipe for fish pie to
collected_fudz, as I promised
cracicotus and Wiebke.
- bought the cats a scrap of fur at the Christmas market as well, and Lucifer was scared of it, big old coward that he is! Mephi, on the other hand, jumped at it, killed it dead, and carried it around in triumph. Later, he was seen knotting it around a table leg. My cats are cute, by the way.
- can carry grudges very long, then drop them suddenly. That is sometimes a good thing to do. Both parts.
- am drunk in charge of a battle-axe, but won't do any damage -- promise!!

Something else from last night
Dec. 1st, 2008 07:58 amWhen we returned from the medieval Christmas market, I asked to go home by subway, the long way, instead of going through the crowds from the mainstream Christmas market to catch the train, reasoning that 'I can't walk through all these mundanes with a battle-axe' (it was wrapped but still very recognisable).
Wendy found that very funny.-
