May I introduce Mephisto. He's tiny, solid black, skinny, gawky, cheeky, and generally very young.



Why is the door closed? There are fudz behind it!


I has a flavr, but I don't know what it is yet...

When I grow up, I'm going to be Basement Cat!


Black!kitty on the orange bath mat. Orange!kitty is fascinated.

Sorry for the fuzziness of some of these pictures; while he talks back to Lucifer without a problem (they're still fighting things out among themselves, rather noisily at times), Mephisto doesn't yet trust me; when I come too close, he hides underneath the orange folding screen again, among the shoes. He considers that his home base. So, I can't come close to take pictures, I need to use the zoom at its utmost, and that's not good for the quality of the pictures.-



And now some pictures of what I bought at IKEA yesterday:

New shelf-thing with baskets in, new curtain. And there is furniture on the balcony now.-


Everything is nice and purple, violet, lavender etc. now -- new bedspread, pillowcases, rug, table, ornamental plant pattern.


New chest of drawers, instead of wide old impractical coffee table.


The ornamental plant pattern comes on sheets and gets glued to the wall, instead of painting or stencilling it on. Looks nice, and if I'm fed up with eternal spring in half a year, it'll come off again without much fuss.-

And the new stuff looks nice. Ikea is such a treasure trove!

It is. The Nazgul spontaneously declared she wanted that sort of green ornamental plant pattern as well.-

Mephisto is incredibly cute!!! I hope he and Lucifer get on well together, it might take them a while, but I reckon they will eventually. Especially once they're both 'fixed' anyway.

The furniture looks great, and I was wondering where the green on the walls was from and then you answered me! I specially love the purple bedding, would look great in my room... maybe I should trek over to my local Ikea and see if they have some in King Size? The room looks great though!

Oh they do the bespread in larger; the new curtain originally was a large bespread that I've simply -- rededicated, you might say.

I shall have to check it out, my purple bedroom could do with a new bedspread, new bedlinen in general as it happens. Only having one duvet cover is a pain in the winter when things take so long to dry.

Of course, spending money right now is tight, but it never hurts to look right?

Oh, I don't doubt it! They'll get on eventually. They have friendly moments and snarky moments. And I won't leave them alone together at first, only once the more serious snark has stopped.-

Ooh, lovely! Both kitty and flat. I love those wall stickery things, they had black flowers in our one and I nearly bought some.

They had black flowers in mine as well; I nearly bought those, but then preferred the green trees, as I thought I'd get more mileage out of them. And I did -- two packages covered the wall effectively!
