May I introduce Mephisto. He's tiny, solid black, skinny, gawky, cheeky, and generally very young.

Why is the door closed? There are fudz behind it!

I has a flavr, but I don't know what it is yet...

When I grow up, I'm going to be Basement Cat!

Black!kitty on the orange bath mat. Orange!kitty is fascinated.

Sorry for the fuzziness of some of these pictures; while he talks back to Lucifer without a problem (they're still fighting things out among themselves, rather noisily at times), Mephisto doesn't yet trust me; when I come too close, he hides underneath the orange folding screen again, among the shoes. He considers that his home base. So, I can't come close to take pictures, I need to use the zoom at its utmost, and that's not good for the quality of the pictures.-

And now some pictures of what I bought at IKEA yesterday:

New shelf-thing with baskets in, new curtain. And there is furniture on the balcony now.-

Everything is nice and purple, violet, lavender etc. now -- new bedspread, pillowcases, rug, table, ornamental plant pattern.

New chest of drawers, instead of wide old impractical coffee table.

The ornamental plant pattern comes on sheets and gets glued to the wall, instead of painting or stencilling it on. Looks nice, and if I'm fed up with eternal spring in half a year, it'll come off again without much fuss.-
