Ha. Daniel likes to make disparaging comments about dogs, which I just don't get. I don't have a dog and wouldn't want one in the city, but I love dogs. I love all animals. It's true dogs and cats have their differences, but loving one doesn't mean you have to hate the other as a matter of course. I don't get it. But then again, I don't understand why people cheer on certain sports teams instead of cheering on both sides. :)
It's that whole 'You can either like this or that' thing that upsets Stephen Fry, and to which I can only say a heartfelt 'Word!'; but yes, the dog-and-cat thing is rather irksome.
One cheers for one sports team, not for both, though, in order to make it exciting for oneself.-
I don't even see the point of sports teams. Esp. now when teams "buy" players from one place and move them to another, so it's not really a local team from your area, your city, but just a bunch of guys/girls. People go nuts over it too, like the team = the city = their self-esteem. It's no wonder I was such a flop at sports. I played basketball 8 yrs. but never much cared about being competitive or winning anything :)
And I also have a distinct fondness for cats, to the point where I once woke up in tears because the kitten my dream (a darling boy called Che) wasn't real.
I think I should make an icon along the lines of that statement. Something animated...

As I'll be iconning this evening for Sibyl, my new Morningstar Manor charrie, I can do that icon just at the same time, seeing I'll have PSP open and be in an iconning frame of mind.-

I firmly support the ability to like both.
