OMG I hate that new header banner!! How do they manage it? Each header banner is worse than the one before, each header banner means days of cumbersome slowness while they change it when really it should be just one change in the central CSS file; and for the sake of little baby hedgehogs (and other veiled expletives), what is that esoteric wurly-burly on that banner supposed to mean??

The next one was stolen from a Japanese photographer. I even hinted very strongly, just short of saying she stole, and she had flocked her entry to boot, but it won.

Healing hands? What the heck do they have to do with LJ? I really extremely do not like this header. Others have been over-saccharine or badly coloured, but this one I find positively offensive.

These games are so superfluous! The poor Nazgul got hooked on Farmville on Facebook. Awful.

On the other hand, due to the friends list, LJ had social networking functions loooooong before Facebook. I have no Facebook, and I'll never get one.-

To me, it looks very esoteric; not a tribute to nurses, but to self-proclaimed spiritual healers.

I respect traditional medicine from around the world, holistic approaches, and herbal cures; but I take exception at that sort of airy-fairy mumbo-jumbo.-

Never disagreed with that.
One can adblock the graphics, IIRC it might swallow the links if they are the same colour.
