• No idea what that Russian chain meme is supposed to be good for - it looks like fun, though. It auto-updates your LJ if you're logged in as the user name you enter, so beware. It's not an evil hack, though. It just adds your name to the chain. I like having cyrillic characters on my LJ. Cool. I kicked it off Lajos's journal, though - no point in dragging that over to RPG space. Not all memes are suitable for Discworld. The "warning label" one was a hoot, though, over there. Hah - Mr Pointy is poisonous, which will not be forgotten, ever...
  


• "You get either drowned or roasted these days. For tomorrow, drowning is scheduled", the Nazgul announced about the weather in an email last night. As she is a Nazgul, she's right, of course (she can demand to "see blood" and will get ankle-deep redness, as we know); there was an impressive thunderstorm last night to switch things over to drowning mode, which is now at full flow.
  


• My ladies are taking root here in no time: my mother visited all the painters' studios in the second back courtyard last evening while the Little Lady played badminton with Paul from next door. I wasn't really needed to play hostess to them any longer and could chat to ponderstibbons on the discworld_rpg as if it was an ordinary day.


• Today's morning session, though, was characterised by complete and utter Ji-less-ness. Wasn't there talk of some Shakespeare festival she was going to go to?

That will be in July, actually...we postponed it so that The Aunt Who Animates can come.

When in July? I'll have to put up a post at the group journal on the issue of summer holidays, visitors, and general gone-ness, so we'll have somewhere to look up who will be gone when.

Ahh, I'll put up a post at the group journal, anyway. So we can co-ordinate and things, and won't wonder about anybody's absences. Some will be gone utterly, some will be able to check in and touch base every few days.
