It's for a big bang so it won't be published until later. Do you know peaceful_sands? It's hers. I was laughing with her the other day telling her that between her fic and yours, I felt very acquainted with the fandom even tho' I have yet to see the film!

I will get to it. As I mentioned, one of my clients took a turn for the worst and I had to halt everything to deal with that. That put me behind on other business matters and I have been reducing stress by drabbling with the others on fic_promptly.

I am swamped right now. It's show season and we have six new horses in house so I am working 10-12 hours/day! I start traveling every other week to shows so I don't have time for much of anything. Whem I get home I am tired and just want to write or chat with friends. I'll wait for the dvd! LOL

Besides, I feel so intimately connected to the characters being beta for you two. I just proposed that we name one of the new horses Loki (he seems like a Loki to me. :D)

The hulk is in hers and I know him from childhood!!! We were chatting about the Eric Bana remake and I am soooo glad I did not see it because I was a huge hulk fan as a kid.

Loki is small, mischievous in a non-invasive way (he nibbles at the leadrope dociley as if he were merely bored standing still for the farrier until he manages to free himself and then WHOOOOOOSH!!! jail break! He's out the barn and galloping down into the polo field.


And then you catch him and bring him back up and he's all puppy eyes and repentent and "I can't believe you are really going to hold that against me." *nibbling leadrope*

He is definitely a Loki. Definitely!! Especially with the horse thing about Sleipnír etc.-

Yep, Erik Bana!Hulk is not really good; I saw parts of it on TV. Edward Norton!Hulk is said to be much better, but I didn't see it yet. Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk in Avengers is wonderful because he is this very quiet mumbling scruffy self-effacing unshaven fellow until -- WHAM! HULK!!!

Me too. He totally deserved to win anything there is to win (an Internet) for his preformance as the Leper King in 'Kingdom Of Heaven'? You don't even get to see his face. That was the year when they had great actors performing in masks, same as Agent Elrond (as the Nazgul and I call him) as V in 'V for Vendetta'.

I loved him in Kingdom of Heaven! And did you see Primal Fear? And Red Dragon? The Illusionist? Yeah, total stan. :)

If you haven't seen American History X, I strongly recommend it! He is a young student who falls under the sway of his leftist teacher. His father starts to point out problems with the theories the man espouses and soon thereafter he falls under the spell of neo-Nazis. He winds up killing an African-American, smashing his head repeatedly against the sidewalk.

The story is about the changes he undergoes. BRILLIANT!

That movie had a profound effect in the US as it paralled the neo-Nazi "skinhead" movement in California (the story takes places in California). "Nazi Punks" were all the rage back in the 80s.

BTW, he was nominated for an Oscar for his performance in that one.

I have the book somewhere, but it seemed so chock-full of ALL THE FEELS when I started reading it, I didn't even finish it...

But that was in the late nineties. For some reason, I didn't feel like feels then.

For instance I just learned today that sweating in 100 F (90% humidity) is really excellent for me as it is cleansing my body of toxins. That cycle of sweating and constantly drinking water will make me feel better.

Except that I don't...

Until I have showered and am in the air conditioning. :)

I am working on the 'sweat is good' thing, too, and moving it from the domain of 'Should Not Be' to the place where things are normal, because I say so. I found that eliminating the domain of Should Not Be helped with unfucking my habitat, too.
