The concert of the amateur orchestra [livejournal.com profile] nazgul_nr_5 plays cello in wasn't nearly as bad as I was warned to expect! Actually, it was quite good. The violins were off to a weak start, but the moment the oboe soloist began to play, they suddenly found their feet and kept them - apart from one truly horrorful moment at the end of the slow movement of that Haydn piano concerto they did as the second piece; that was so bad I felt like running out of the hall for a moment. But then the movement was over, there was a short moment where everybody took a deep breath, and the violins miraculously recovered again. The piano soloist was a bit too young, shy and bland to bang properly where she should have, though.

The second part of the concert, some symphony by a totally unknown contemporary of Mozart (they have a new one each time; I half-jokingly suspect the conductor sekritly writes them himself and invents the composers), I spent staring pleasantly into space and plotting evil for [livejournal.com profile] asar_suti, a Dark God Of Awesome Power I have consented to temporarily RP at the Crackbar. But fear not - I have not really succumbed! He'll be over before Christmas.

I was a bit disappointed, even, when the symphony suddenly broke into a blaring finale and fell silent, and there weren't any encores at all; I wasn't through with Asar-Suti yet.-

No crack

There is something I sekritly call the Oracle Of DeepestSender. DeepestSender is a Firefox plugin, and my Livejournal Client Of Choice. It can be told to remember the username and password. Repeatedly.

But that makes the poor thing rather confused. With every new restart of Firefox, it will pick a random identity from where it saved them, and present them to me to log in as. In 98% of all cases, it makes the wrong suggestion. In 1%, it is right. Seeing I have only eleven identities I could log in as, the wrongness is significantly higher than it should be. Ergo, the thing is being contrary on purpose.

The remaining 1% is the Orcale part: I simply go with whatever DeepestSender suggests and post as that entity. It didn't help just now, though as DeepestSender suggested I should be [livejournal.com profile] asar_suti, and he's not approved yet at the Crackbar. So, no crack for me at the moment; my poor brain is already fairly teeming with him, but he can't be let out much yet.

*wibble with anticipation*

Also, it's no crack what the Drabble-Matic is on. Definitely not. No, that thing has been at the funny mushrooms instead, and had a few whopping handfuls of them. There's no other explanation for this:
