Canon illustration for
pastrydeity
Jun. 15th, 2008 02:48 pmHi Sasha, have a Rebecca from 1860.-
She's from my father's old copy of 'Ivanhoe', and unfortunately, the only illustration in it.

Context: I had talked to
arkadyevna on Daily Entertainment recently about canon illustrations from around the time the canon was written, and how it is cool to have them, if one is a mun of 19th century canon. And I vaguely remembered a n illustrated 'Ivanhoe' somewhere. The book has been found, but the one and only illustration is a frontispice of Rebecca.-
Sorry!
And I have this in somewhat larger resolution, if that's any use to you.-
