My Milliways shirt arrived today, at last! It means that I can go to the old slavery tomorrow for the very last time EVAH wearing Teja's work shirt, so to speak.

Still don't know how I'll get 'SECURITY' added to the back; or if I even want Security and won't do 'GARDENING STAFF' instead, for Urq.

In a noncomittal 'sandbox' game* on DreamWidth, I put up a post set in a noncomittal café, anybody welcome, but especially OCs from other games, especially especially if the game is defunct and we miss the charries.

Seeing Russell Brand preform at the Olympics Closing Ceremony on Sunday, I realised how much I miss Andras Toth from Morningstar Manor, so he's the one I'm going to play in there...

I'm watching 'My Own Private Idaho' again for the first time since somewhere in the late nineties, to see exactly how Gus van Sant has made mincemeat of 'Henry IV.' (both parts) there, after having paid a lot of attention to the historically correct version in 'Hollow Crown'.

And yes, River Phoenix' character is Poins. At the time, the critics wrote that the character was entirely made up. Nope, it's just that nobody seems to pay enough attention to poor Poins.-

I'm off to No Computer Land for a week, and while I am taking my netbook and the 'surfstick', I suspect the mobile connection wil be all EDGE out there in the boondocks, so I'll check email once a day like it's 1995, and not be seen online or take tags for a week.

Going through ALL THE FEEDS AND TIMELINES one more time just now, I discovered that UnfuckYourHabitat was made aware of and mentioned the fact that I mentioned UnfuckYourHabitat in a fic, and liked that fact. So, with the nice buzz from this oddly circular flattery, I'm going to flounce off into the wilds of RL. See you all next Saturday!

Oh damn, how does one tell a fanfic author on AO3 that their ideas are charming and one would like to see more of them, but it's blaringly obvious that English isn't their first language (I'd guess French or maybe Italian), and they should get a beta. Because what they write is worth reading, but I just can't -- all that without kicking off a flame and wank war?

There is no PM function on AO3, either.-
