japanologist's Samsung netbook running the Zattoo TV application, my EEE having Ubuntu installed, and our dinner: prosecco, and woked chicken and vegetables in coconut-and-wasabi sauce, on rice.It was all great fun!

Dec. 31st, 2009 04:21 pmI'm going to cook rice now for the sushi orgy I'm planning with the Nazgul; I have 'The Water Horse' on DVD because something Scottish would be fun for New Year's Eve; Urquhart's application is sitting in 'Drafts', ready to be sent as soon as the announcement goes up in the Backroom tonight or tomorrow morning.

When I was younger, the rule was, the fancier, the better. Anything odd and new, I had to try it. Even the bright blue stuff tasting of nothing.
Now - quality, simplicity, steadiness.
*contemplates iced coffee, which is a great joy when made properly by hand, and with good plain vanilla ice cream*
