I almost thought I had ghosts in my kitchen, like [livejournal.com profile] fabulous_papaya has in her house.

I sometimes heard a strange "plopp" as if some domestic mishap had occured, but there never was anything.

I was just there when it did it again, and I realised that closed empty plastic bottles beside a warm heating duct will produce the effect every time they can...

In other news: I may be a professional database tamer, but a rank amateur in some private IT applications. If anybody can point me to a site that tells me how to make MP3s from CDs, you shall have some chanting Mount Athos monks soon.

I just decided that redistributing what I had on my computer wasn't enough any more. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] marchenland's helpful linkage, I can now make MP3s and have immediately proceeded to make some of things I have always been mentioning:

Mount Athos Monks chanting

Loyko, "Molyarkitsa" (Russian Gypsy music of the sort Rasputin liked)

Nightwish, "Elvenpath"

"Mare Vaporum" from Karl Jenkins' "Imagined Oceans"

werewolf
Werewolves of folklore differ greatly from modern
renditions seen in movies and shows. People
believed there were many ways to become
werewolves, such as drinking rainwater
collected in a wolf's pawprint, eating meat
gnawed on by a wolf, or being born with a full
set of teeth or covered in a caul. And unlike
movie werewolves, werewolves of old were
oftentimes harmless and highly honorable!

As a werewolf, you are loyal, strong and honorable,
and you will protect all you hold dear with
your very life. Although you are not a violent
individual at heart, you will fight for what
you believe in. You are a good friend and truly
are a wonderful person to be around.
