I got my package from the BPAL ripoff 'Conjure Oils' today; I'd found I'd wanted an entire bottle of their 'Litha' scent that moons_storm had sent me an imp of some while ago. And unlike BPAL, they do have sensible procedures for international shipping.

I'd ordered a bunch of imps with it, just out of curiosity, and one of them is the first real stinker I ever encountered among all those highly alternative perfume oils from America.

'Blood Moon -- October' smells like rancid Marmite and tomcat's spunk. With a dash of capsicum.

I look as if I was turning into a sparklepire. Sphinx has given me a Lush box for Christmas, and it contained something called 'Glitterbug'. It is exactly what it says on the tin.

I discovered this only after using it generously all over. It's getting everywhere. Even Mephi's fur is slightly glittery, from when I cuddled him during the movie he was in, sort of.

After years and years of hearing people rave about BPAL online, I now have the very first imps here on my table, thanks to moons_storm. Thank you thank you thank you!! It's fascinating stuff.


Erm, what do I have to do to get more 'Piper at the Gates of Dawn'? It's not just that there's a faun on the label, I opened the pretty bottle, and immediately fell in love with the scent of what little oil is left in it (it's an empty, which apparently still get passed around so people can sniff them). I dabbed the rim of that bottle on my wrists, and it was Just Right.
